Safety instructions

The pump casing must be full of hydraulic fluid (into the casing chamber) at startup and during operation. It must be started without load at low speed until the system is completely drained.

For long periods of standstill, the casing can be drained via the working line. When restarting, ensure that a sufficient amount of oil is injected into the housing.

The minimum suction pressure at port S must not drop below 0.8 bar.

Mounting position

The shaft is horizontal at the bottom. When mounted on top of a tank, the mounting position “shaft level, suction port towards the bottom” is not permitted!

Installation below the tank level

The pump is positioned below the lowest oil level in the tank (standard).

➔ Fill the axial piston pump before starting through the highest positioned case drain port!

➔ Recommendation: Fill suction line

➔ Run the pump at low speed (ignition speed) until the pump system is completely full

➔ Minimum submergence depth of suction line or drain line in the oil tank: 200 mm (relative to the minimum oil level in the oil tank).

Mounting position above the tank level

➔ Mounting positions with the “shaft against the top” and “shaft horizontal, suction port at the bottom” are not permitted (the pump casing drains oil through the suction line during shutdown).
