M-SED directional valves are solenoid shut-off directional valves used to control the flow, stop and direction of oil.
It consists of a valve body, solenoid, and shutoff.
Manual emergency operation allows the valve to be operated when the solenoid is not energized. Basic functions: - Spring (5) - Spring (6) - Spring (7) - Spring (8)
The spring setting determines the initial position of the valve. In case of power failure, the “UK” type valve is open and the “CK” type valve is closed. The valve chamber, located behind the shut-off piece, is connected to the port P and is sealed off from the port T. The valve is therefore pressure-balanced with respect to the operating forces (solenoid and spring).
Thanks to the shutoff member, the valve can be used at operating pressures of up to 350 bar in ports P, A and T and can pass flow in both directions!
In the initial position, the shut-off member is pressed against the seat by the spring and in the switching position the solenoid pushes it against the seat. In this way, a leak-free seal is achieved.
